Services We Provide
Consultation:

Is designed to determine whether your condition falls within the realm of chiropractic care. Based upon the results of the consultation, the doctor will make appropriate recommendations regarding x-rays, examination, adjustments or referral to another doctor.

Examination:

We use modern diagnostic procedures such as SEMG computer scan in addition to a thorough chiropractic spinal examination including range of motion and chiropractic and orthopedic tests.

Diagnostic Imaging:

Based on your examination findings, x-rays or other types of diagnostic imaging may be necessary. These images can help reveal pathologies, document the history of your spinal health, and guide your doctor in creating a care program based on your unique spinal condition. Today's high-tech equipment and ultraŽsensitive films help minimize your exposure.Report of findings:
After the doctor has correlated her findings based upon your x-rays and examination, you will receive a full consultation with the doctor.

Specific Adjustments
The primary course of care will be specific chiropractic adjustments. This will help return individual spinal bones to their proper motion and position. There are hundreds of ways of using carefully directed and controlled pressure to restore better position and motion to "stuck" or fixated spinal joints. This may require a quick thrust, or in other instances a slow, constant pressure. Sometimes, only one area of the spine is adjusted, and other times the entire spine will receive attention. Some doctors use only their hands, while others will use special tables or instruments. Sometimes, the patient's own body weight is used. Every doctor has a preference based on training, clinical experience, and the particular spinal problem of the patient.
Spinal Adjustment
A chiropractic spinal adjustment is a gentle and specific force delivered to spinal vertebrae to correct misalignment and relieve nerve interference. Chiropractors use a variety of adjusting techniques. The most common method is performed with the chiropractor's hands delivering a quick pressure. Others use a slow constant pressure, while some utilize a specially designed instrument or table. We evaluate each patient's unique spinal problem and determine which type of adjustment technique will work the best. Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art tables and adjusting tools allowing us to provide the best care for each of our patients. We focus on caring for and adjusting the spine by analyzing the spine for misalignments and correcting them with spinal adjustments. The success with our patients is due to a combined effect of our adjustments and each person's own ability to heal. Chiropractic does not cure disease or treat symptoms. It simply frees up the nervous system so the body can heal itself.
